A Mission

For some time now, I have been planning to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I've spent since last September working to raise money to go. I'm looking forward to serving and will begin to file my papers soon. I don't think very often about how much the desire to go has changed me. Preparing to go (though I have to do a lot more to fully prepare) has brought me to a happier point in life than ever before. I hope maybe I can write a little down in this blog that might help somebody, somewhere on the same path (or a different path) then I have been on.

A saturday...

So I'm trying to figure out what to do with my Saturday. I woke up late, and I'm undecided whether to clean now or later. Hmm ....decisions, decisions....
I'm also trying to figure out what to do with the upcoming elections. I don't know enough about the candidates to make a decision, and its a primary, so I would have to agree to be a member of a specific party, which I don't agree with. I hope people will start responding to my blog as I write in it, because I appreciate the feedback. No one person knows everything, and by collaborating, we can all know more. I hope that if I continue to comment on politics and other topics, people can give me good sources to learn from.
But, really, I'd be happy if people just read this blog.

Wow, I need to get writing on this Blog! MySpace and Facebook sort of took over my life, but this would be much cooler to frequently update. Weirdly, my school internet filter blocks my blog page for some reason. Why? I don't know.
